At the association meeting today the membership voted on a proposal to pursue the purchase of property encompassing the walking trail at the end of East Shore Dr. The membership voted:
This vote does not consummate a purchase but does allow the board to pursue a purchase agreement pending township action to divide the current property and for all transaction costs (survey, etc.) to be within reason and workable under our current years budget.
I have conveyed our further interest to the seller and he will be contacting the township seeking to divide his current parcel into two separate parcels. I will be meeting with the township to clarify the costs and the timing for survey and other costs to accomplish this separation.
So there is more to follow but we are moving along with the board recommendation supported by a membership vote.
Stay tuned! We will meet on Thursday October 12 at 7PM and expect to have more of this puzzle solved!
